Starlink+arc not working

Hi @Tom_Westwood,

The diagnostics you’ve presented show that Starlink has issued you an IPv4-format external address, which means your account will be behind their carrier-grade network address translation (CG-NAT).

Unfortunately, Starlink doesn’t tend to offer the option to disable their CG-NAT. In the future, IPv6-format addresses (which Starlink is in the process of rolling out) will function with ARC, but we’re first working out a nomenclature bug in Starlink’s address announcement.

At this time, you’ll likely find the most success pursuing a #tinkering solution like TailScale [Tailscale implementation with ARC to circumnavigate ISP CGNAT] or another VPN. (Tailscale implementation with ARC to circumnavigate ISP CGNAT)
