The Vinyl Bar (Yes, we're open!) [2025-202*]

Certainly not has beautiful as the pic from @Kimo_Stone_Guess , but a little cumbia on a Friday night never hurt anyone. This album by Lagartijeando is smooth as silk and getting primed for my Tony Allen album that arrived in the mail today!

Wow, what brand/model is this?

It’s a Wrensilva Standard. It comes with a Sonos Port installed. I swapped it out for a Bluesound Node. All off my other endpoints are Bluesound compatible KEF LS50 Wireless II (Node connected to Analog In), Naim muso 2 (Node Nano connected to Analog In), Buchardt Audio A500 SE (connected to NAD C 658 preamp), Bluesound Pulse M, and three Bluesound Flex 2i’s. Everything is wired over ethernet except for the Flex 2i’s which allows me to stream the vinyl from the Wrensilva to every room. If I want to play Roon throughout the house I actually group all of the Bluesound endpoints in the BluOS app and play to the Node in the Wrensilva. Bluesound’s sync is better than Roon’s for that many endpoints.

Followed my own advice and purchased more LPs (and a bunch CDs for the roon server).

But 14 used Japanese NM LPs for 100 euro shipped ? Can’t go wrong there..

Here is one of them that was more or less a Blind Purchase

Asami Kado - Seminude
1981 - Funk, Soul , Pop
Paid 5,60€
Absolute zero pops and clicks , flat clean pressing.

Reinstated the Brinkmann Bardo, and every time it is a highlight of musical delivery in my small-ish room. But the distance between the digital source in the background and my vinyl setups has been made signficantly smaller of late.

New Tortoise album, sea green vinyl. Went with friends to see them at The Barbican in London last night and my buddy bought me this as repayment for getting his pre gig pub dinner.

i love this stand. did you build it yourself?

Thanks!

I didn’t…I’m not that practical!

It’s from Lagom Studio. Definitely recommend them.

Cheers :+1:t2:

My Technics SL-1300G is getting it’s tiny signal RIAA-corrected by the really nice Luxman C-120A MkII (stepup tranny on the MC input). The Lux sends it pre amp signal to the Xindak V10 (in use as power amp).
Finishing off with the XTZ 99.26 Beryllium stand mounts.

Oh, the cart is a Denon DL-103SA, in excellent shape!

Sound of music!

I was 4 when this came out, someone I barely knew leant me the vinyl at university in the 90s when I mainly listened to Detroit techno, and then another door opened

pretty LM amp. is the faceplate orange, or is that just the warm tubey glow?

Yes it’s an orange faceplate, looks great next to mid century walnut and subjectively sounds tubier
