I’m not sure if I’m understanding you correctly here…

I know the radio thumbs don’t affect anything other than the current playlist,

But Roon Brian has stated that that is not so.

What does Roon Radio actually DO?

The thumbs are primarily used to improve large-scale models that are shared amongst everyone.
