Understanding what will happen to NAS users after the .NET 10 based Roon Server (20 April 2026)

I’m not a betting man but I don’t see the change happening today.

postponed for a week

Hey all, answering to questions above. We decided to delay the release, as stated in the message, we want to take another week, to make things a bit better than they are today

Take your time! Why not a whole month? Or even more? We are paying and waiting…idk for how long, you’ll count the remaining ones.

On 2nd of April you announced this fix for today. Silly.

Excellent choice :+1:t2:

Polish over speed.

Sure communication is not Roon master skill… they do other things better for sure

I don’t think I’ve seen anything on a possible alternate solution for QNAP users since this post. Any updates on that?

Didn’t pan out, apparently

I did not receive that. Can someone share, or forward it, please? Mine died the other day when I ran the update. Good thing I have a monthly sub; this might might be the impetus to cancel it TBH. So many problems with it already, and now this. I will try the container strategy; if it works well, I will go lifetime; if it doesn’t, I will go Connect and jRiver.

Here is the update

I would reccommend to give the docker install and try the new update, it’s a huge improvement imo.

If you run into problems with the docker solution ping me and let see if we can get it figured out.

I’ve run into problems, lol!

I’m going to try containerizing it tonight. If that doesn’t work, I will try moving it to a new silent machine.

I never saw an in app announcement. Did anyone?
