Listening to the ‘folk/Americana new songs’ playlist from Roon’s TIDAL front page. Four-plus hours of mostly new (to me) artists. First time I’ve gone this route but I’m loving it.

Love Lilly Hiatt, met her at The Golden Lion in Bristol where she was playing on a bill with The Flyin’ A’s and Hannah Aldridge.
Her album Royal Blue is well worth a listen too. Welcome to real Americana
Chalk it up to good genes…
She signed my CD Chris, you rock… with lots of kisses…
Definitely not “pop”

The more I listen to this the more I like it. It is very very good. If nothing else, listen to the last song “I Pray”. Check out this review; I agree with the reviewer 100%.

Inspired from a post a couple of days ago:
I have the SACD of that already ripped. Give me a timing for a click and I’ll check it.
It’s a radio orchestra and sometimes (definitely not always) radio production values are a bit crummy. But I’m a bit surprised in this case.
Thanks Ludwig. However, I’ve since bought the SACD, and re-ripped it. No clicks anymore…
Unfortunately not much, the first two Patto albums were the high water mark in my opinion.
The first Boxer album is good as well. Just seemed like one of those many artists that got close to breaking through to a larger audience, but something always got in the way.
