I looked on a incredible interesting documentary yesterday on Netflix, about the Supergroup Chicago. I recommend it strongly to all who are interested in music.
So today I have been listening to Terry Kath, one of the original six member of Chicago. Terry was a incredible musician, guitarist and singer. when they toured with Jimi Hendrix (on his last tour R.I.P) said he what Terry was a better guitarist!
Terry was a weapon lover and collector, so In January 1977 when he was cleaning a gun (after a lot of cocain) so went it Off and he died immediately!
Listen to this special album so does you understand. L&R R.I.P Terry.
If you like Chicago so is here 2 Albums Of there’s different and amazing transforming, through their 50 years as a Supergroup and they are still doing around 100 gigs every year.
Look where Roon leads you, from Gregory Porter to a duck in a microwave…
ECM. Streaming from Tidal. In MQA. Bluesound Node 2 doing first unfold. Dirac doing Room Correction on MiniDSP. Meridian DSP5200 speakers play the 94/24 signal.
That’s a nice little slice of audio heaven here. Time to inspect the wine cellar…
Didn’t know that ECM is available on TIDAL. Will search for more.
Thank you for the hint.
Found out an hour ago. More info here:
Anders…Thanks for the recommendation!! I have been listening to these guys since they called CTA!! Chicago Transit Authority! Love to get that Terry Kath album you displayed… it’s almost $100 at Amazon! Yikes…a little rich for my taste …I’ve seem them many times in Concert! The first time I saw them was at the L.A. Forum and they opened for Jimi Hendrix…It was a great show! Do you know where that album can be had at a sane price?
I though his suicide was intentional though…What a great Ax player he was…
