Link Wray & The Wraymen
Slinky! The Epic Sessions
Heard this a few times on the radio and I just love it. Really effective drop to a lower register.

When I worked for IBM in the '80s, I helped produce promotional events for the sales force at nice venues throughout the U.S. At one event, Stan Freberg did a show featuring his albums, various radio bits, TV commercials, political satire, etc. Highly entertaining but he drove me nuts. He called me at midnight from his hotel room and ask me to come pick up changes to his script for the next day, as we had to load it into the teleprompter. I arrived at his hotel room and he was still banging away on his typewriter. The next day, minutes before the show, he said he had more changes. Ah well, the life of a creative type! Loved the guy and his art.
My grandfather had George and the dragon on 78. Iām not sure but it may have been their only disc.
