Someone recommended this, not sure who, thought I’d give it a go…it’s OK…
@ged_hickman1 Congratulations belatedly!
Thanks very much for the hint, listening to it right now on Qobuz.
Indeed great. Is this also available on CD or just streaming. I am not able to locate it outside of streaming services.
Forever awesome
Listened to this after recommendation from Daughter. Quite unique vocals.
Their Live in Berlin Album from 2016 was fun as well.
Glad you like it. Don’t know about CD - I bought the hi-res digital download:
Yes, I like it very much, awesome quality on par with the studio album - but somehow I am not able to locate it on the website link you shared.
Last week I posted an album by Vicent Peirani and Emile Parisien, combining the sounds of accordion and soprano saxophone. Well, here’s another duo of accomplished musicians playing the same instruments as Peirani and Parisien, but with an altogether different sound.
Guy Klucevsek and Phillip Johnston are both Amercian musicians with a discography to explore, and this album is a fun listen. Recommended!
There seems to be no Marillion on this page even with the search function - plus the link points to a band called Offa Rex / The Queen of Hearts.
But I found the HiRes download on Qobuz and will put it on my Naim Unity Core.
My favourite triplette Hotel Hobbies / Warm Wet Circles / That Time of the Night is just stunning on this live recording, so thanks for the tip again
Was playing the vinyl earlier today. Some great songs on this album. I’ve always liked the band photo on the back cover. What a handsome bunch
OMG Sorry - I was replying to a completely different post
. Glad you found it though - enjoy!
That Offa Rex album is really awesome BTW, but Marillion it is not!
