This is an interesting new release. It’s coming up as Jazz, but it’s really Alternative/Indie with a Kaputt-era Destroyer feel to it. (The co-leader and saxophonist, Joseph Shabason worked with Dan Bejar at the time).

Roon lists Hibari Misora as Misora Hibari. This error is inherited from Tidal. The rest of the Qobuz discography is therefore missing from the listing.
Singing was her life and it was short. She passed away as early as 1989 at the age of 52. She brought Nat King Cole in Memory, Enka, Tradionelles, Jazz and the light arts to Japan.
