What's Rocking You Tonight? [2021-12]

Wow, Nice but consider yourself very lucky…
We have a job in Vegas next week and I was considered for it…but I talked the boss out of it as working late at Cincinnati…lol
So another of our engineers got to go.
I might have had to have found you…lmao!

Enjoy and keep out of them darn casinos.

Urmmm  I’m only here for the Casinos. So spending 12 Hours a Day inside them. I don’t gamble at the tables, just play tournament poker.
Been fun so far and the weather has been great.

A pity you won’t be here, that would have been fun as I am here until next Sunday night.

I wish I was in Vegas for NFL football on Sunday! Watching all the games at the same time, in one place and being able to place bets throughout! There are some big college football games today too, have fun!

Yes watched Utah v Oregon in the bar last night.
Wanted to go to the NFL game but it seems unlikely with the numbers of people in the city…
Sports bars are crazy with so many TVs to watch every sports possible on

Seatgeek still has tickets available. A Raiders game is an adventure worth taking.

I’m debating on going to a playoff game this year, NFL games are definitely fun if you haven’t been to one yet!

I’ve bought off scalpers in the past too

Yes being serious for a moment it actually would have been pretty neat.

Ah well… another time maybe!

Been smacking my head against a wall this morning with Roon though.

Specifically with Antipodes who rolled out another major system update which has left Roon " troubled" so far:angry::angry:

But I have managed to beat it with a full Roon Core reinstall.
Not sure if I dare try a backup restore quite yet, just glad to have it working again.

Pity these guys only appear to have made the one album.
It’s pretty good Canuck Rock.:innocent:

Nice Phil Lynott documentary on BBC2 just finished.
This is underrated.

Never got to see Lizzy in any incarnation unfortunately :frowning:.
I’m sure they were a killer live act as Lynott was a consumate showman.

Yep. I only got to see them once, in Manchester 1981. Despite the revolving door of guitarists, I think the sound stayed fairly true to the original vision. Drugs (class A) finished the band.
If you can get to watch the BBC doc on iplayer (via a VPN) it’s well worth it.

You can never go wrong with a bit of Biffy.

Can’t remember where I first heard of this group but I really enjoy them.
Sort of a slightly heavier Mostly Autumn.
Which is obviously not a bad thing :innocent:

New Adelitas Way ep…

Used to be fairly decent hard rock, this unfortunately sounds just like chart Pop fluff…very disappointed :disappointed:

Nice, haven’t heard them for years. If I remember it correctly, the self titled album is a really good one.

Correct but the White Rabbit album is pretty decent as it’s a semi concept album but not pretentious.
