That is one aspect I don’t miss at all.
Taking a roll of film into Boots, collecting in a couple of days, three blurred out of focus pictures and 21 black ones.
And still paying 4 squid for the privilege 
As soon as digital came out I was on it, I remember my first digital camera was a Sony Mavica where you stuffed a complete 2.5" floppy in the side of it!

My first apartment that I rented had 2 beds in the attic, I have no idea how they got them up there either as to get into the attic there was a small pull down latter, it was kind of creepy.

You would have to buy one of those diy beds and then assemble it up in the attic as they ain’t fitting through the door!
Not a terrible idea though…have to run a dedicated 20a line up there though first.

Well there you go then! After living in a few places I’ve learned that some attics are nice and some are not. I used to get bats in the last apartments attic and they would come into the house. Luckily I don’t have to rent now.
