Do you hear the psychedelic and Britpop references?
Only one listen so far and felt it was quite different.
I will listen again more closely tomorrow, but overall I enjoyed it, as did the wife who is more of a fan.
I hope you’re reading some Jim Harrison while staying in the Upper Peninsula. Maybe Brown Dog? I hope to visit someday.
Oh well, I got as far as Litanie contre la peur. I’m going to play Chocolate Chip Trip while I find something more palatable.
Mrs W is okay with this.
Bipolar Architecture a good recommendation from @TheRiz A bit blacker than normal for me, however thoroughly enjoyed it.
The one Tool song that I press skip on about 80% of the time.
It is more like an annoying tech demo than a Tool song
Yeah, and YYZ.
You talking Tool now or Rush
I listened to YYZ as we landed in Toronto in 2016 and 2018
(can’t say anything bad about that song, just in case I go back )
Drum solos are great … once or twice, but after a while there’s little of interest. I saw Rush a few times, and YYZ was usually the time for another pint.
Thenn you must have loved Led Zep live during moby dick.
Why? Because it’s great music, or there’s time for two pints?
The later and I would say 3 pints.
Some TV ad reminded me of Friend or Foe, so I put this on. a-ha meets Porcupine Tree. Brilliant!
As an aside, I can’t believe Roon Remote has been running on Ubuntu 24.04 for over 24 hours without a crash or fans running. I hope it’s not too good to be true.
I’ve slowed down now, and can’t keep up with my younger self.
I mean congratulations and everything but where are you going to put it?
I hadn’t thought of that combination but it is a great album
I had three Windows remote crashes this morning after updating to the latest Roon server and client, and that never happens to me
Hopefully it was just because of the updating and scanning
