Saw the Manics pop up so revisiting this one:
#826:
EC 461 Ocean Boulevard . A nice gentle listen.

#828: The remix version that was available is not 140 minutes long. I am okay with that.
Edit: I maybe should clarify, lest I be branded a heretic. I like electronic music…a lot. Frequent in-tuner of HÖR Berlin even (if you don’t know it, the live stream is loads of fun). It just loses it’s attraction to me on the crappy bluetooth speaker I have at work, especially at the volume levels I am forced to endure to avoid the threats of closet isolation.
That album cover has always given me the creeps.
The inner artwork was even more cool.
Well thanks.
Never heard of Pearlfushers before, but will listen now.
Another thank you - my closest school buddy left us recently. Was a great Judie Tzuke fan, so to see her mentioned here suggests a evening of fond memories ahead.
So, let me return a favour - recorded at Rumours in Rocky Street in Johannesburg in 2000/2001 - great jazz with a solid vein of Africa running right through it. Highly recommended.
BTW the artist is Paul Hanmer, not Hammer.

I play this album far more than I should. Never get tired of it.
I’m going to be a bit quiet until early next week, as off to North Yorkshire in the morning. Based in Harrogate, but will be wandering far and wide. Looking forward to the Knaresborugh Bed Race on Saturday. Last year was tremendous fun!
@Paul_Perton Glad to be of service. Hope that you enjoy the Pearlfishers
Thanks for your musical recommendation. As we are travelling by train tomorrow, it seems appropriate to listen whilst travelling… and sipping wine. Cheers
Have fun, can’t say as I had ever heard of the bed race but it’s intriguing!
#830: Well, the opening bar of this one got my attention.
