For me, this is a 10/10 album. Amazed that it doesn’t get more accolades. Davy is a lovely song, related to the many Scots who decided to move to London in the hope of a new life, fame, fortune, etc. The streets are not necessarily paved with gold. And yes, it does have a slight early Steely Dan vibe.

Great song. I said to my wife that we need some fresh air, so we planned a walk, now booked in for Thursday.
This guy is great. He gives a lot of interesting info. We’ve done this walk before, but it’s nice and flat and ends in Hebden Bridge👍 food and drink and then train home.
