Unfortunately, the cheapest MOFI is £43 + VAT + potential import costs. The one I wanted is highly regarded. I’m waiting for the seller’s reply.

I’m still struggling to rip a CD (track 1), yet it plays fine on my CD player. Just downloaded a trial of dBpoweramp for Windows, so I can try this on a virtual machine. Unfortunately, my macOS licence isn’t transferable.

$50 is about right for a solid copy with the functional and lovely lift lock case. Of course VATs and import duties and shipping and pickpocketing and bludgeoning and surrendering of firstborns and arms+legs probably makes it less appealing.

There is also the @RodS suggestion. I am sure those can be had a any local charity shop for a few pounds…

I wasn’t making a suggestion, I had no idea that @mjw had ordered it until he replied to my post. These Clapton albums were bought at time of release (so all first pressings played on either a Thorens, Linn or SME, I’ve only owned 3 T/T’s across the decades) not from C.S.
No guarantee with buying from a C.S. on vinyl that they haven’t been played on a coffee grinder.

Also played this afternoon and really enjoyed a first listen to the A Tergo Lupi album, it’s wonderful Neo-folk with a huge amount of bass
