at discogs is this cover
Original release or one of the remasters?
I have a 2020 remaster on it’s way, to see what they’re like…
NEMS reissue from 1976
Ha, Rod! Thanks, but i did recognize your Sabbath reissume (under NEMS), which i agree is good. But i have that one, as well as the UK 1972 Vertigo swirley, and there is no competition.
I even think the 2011 Rhino release is preferable to the NEMS… At least my own sample.
Did you pre-order the coming Pink Floyd at Pompeii?
I’m hesitating, but i’ll probably have in i virtual shopping basket by the end of the evening… ![]()
I have the swirl as well, for the price the NEMS is a bargain if buying now, rather than ‘76 or ‘72 , the ten year war is about the best newer , not heard the one you have ordered.
Rhino cost a lot to get from U.S. unless you see them here already.
My response was to @mjw post, regarding Marillion - Fugazi.
But it doesn’t matter, both are essential albums in my library, whatever version!
Now spinning here:
The original gate-fold release.
I have the original release of Misplaced Childhood, too, and prefer it also. Although, Clutching At Straws is very good. However, I prefer post-Fish Marillion, and for me, Brave is an outstanding album.

Brave is amazing, I have the Steve Wilson remix .
I only have this version, and I would have thought it’s hard to beat. But I’ll queue up the remix, and have a listen.
It’s from 2018
