Took my Naim NAT02 for courier collection on Monday from my local dealer , off to Carindale, Brisbane. Had it 36 years but rarely used it recently , since Mr Peel
. Been totally reliable so sort of regrets but I am sure it’s new owner will enjoy it.

Never a bad time for some Florence.
Also this.

Was playing her former/original band earlier. Nice sitting in the garden music.

A crushingly brilliant album blended with blues, stoner rock and the no-nonsense approach of 70’s heavy rock!
This is these Germans’ fourth album, the first for Ripple Music, and it is an amazing creation that shakes you to the bones. Their blend of blues, stoner, 70’s classic rock as well psychedelic rock but in a modern take is absolutely stunning! Frontman Michael Binder sounds like a mix of Jim Morrison and Mark Lanegan!

ooo I really like this. Good shout out!
That’s in spite of the first track sounding like it was mixed by a 16 year olde who just got a pirated copy of Pro Tools from his friend Beavis.

I think these cats are going to get some Bandcamp action from me.

Okay, the second track on this one sounds like what my imagination tells me was an alternate Universe where Jim Morrison was the frontman for Black Sabbath. ![]()
Edit: I should probably clarify that I think that is a good thing.
