What's Rocking You Tonight? [2025-07]

Nicole Lawrence is your favorite musician’s secret weapon, having toured globally with the likes of Jenny Lewis, Coldplay, Devendra Banhart, King Tuff, and Mary Timony, performing live on Late Night with Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten, collaborating in-studio with Neil Hagerty on a Howling Hex album, and soloing on pedal steel alongside none other than Bruce Springsteen at MetLife Stadium.

On her debut solo LP, Time In Love, she introduces her own voice, one of dryly poetic, road-tested wisdom, with the casual brilliance of a sought-after six-string heavyweight. Deftly weaving threads between the bar-smoke virtuosity of J.J. Cale to the slack eccentricity of early Beck, Nicole Lawrence’s debut effort shows the arresting confidence and refreshing wit of a seasoned artist who knows her craft inside and out—and knows what she wants to say with it.

I’m thinking that the first 5 Queen albums should be added to my listen later. It’s been a long time since I last heard them.

I have set some Roon smart playlists of albums I haven’t listened to in the last year and some great albums have come up. There is just too much good music to be able to listen too, even for retired gentlemen who listen to a lot of music

I hear you. I’m very primitive when it comes to ROON uses. I don’t really bother with playlists or many other features that people seem to stress over. Having said that, my wife loves the playlist option + the fact that we can mix local audio with Qobuz. My job is to keep it running blip free, which, touch wood, hasn’t been a problem.
Tomorrow my wife is “off site” so Queen 1 through 5 it is. I’ve always loved the Brian May song ‘39’ so, looking forward to that :crown:

Listen Later and Smart Playlists have brought me back to using Roon more than I have in a long time. I see tracks showing up in the unplayed playlist and go to the album and then click the plus to add the album to listen later and then pop them in the queue. It feels good and modern even when playing music from the 60s and 70s

Enjoy listening to Queen tomorrow
