Outstanding obscure 70’s-inspired bluesy heavy guitar power trio featuring the amazing Ben Granfelt (Wishbone Ash) on guitar. 13 tracks (61 minutes) of awesome killer authentic retro-guitar grooves that jam hard and deep. Highly recommended to fans of Hendrix, Trower, Gov’t Mule, Pink Floyd & Plankton. If you dig top-shelf, serious bluesy heavy guitar riffage do yourself a favor and tune into this awesome blues-based power trio guitar rocker.

Ha ha good man, I posted something similar in the other listening thread. I also saw one in the Jazz thread (no need to ask what I was doing there )
Best album cover this year
I remember when that came out. I was internally thrilled at being able to say SloJoBo out loud. Yes, I like Dr. Suess. Easily entertained, am I.
This new Biffy album is top form and already had about 10 listens to it
I don’t think this album is out yet, but it is excellent when it does come out and many listeners here will enjoy it
Originally a four-piece band, they later brought in John Aldrich, with his super-clean lead guitar style, to supplement Gram ‘Tex’ Benike’s killer slide work and create a dynamic dual-guitar sound, adding so much more colour and depth to the band’s music. With a solid rhythm section of ‘Spyder’ Curphey (and latterly his brother Roger) on bass and Steve Traveller on drums, and with Denny Newman’s powerful and resonant vocals, the band progressed to the university and college circuit all over England, supporting major acts like Rory Gallagher, Deep Purple, Atomic Rooster, Savoy Brown, Climax Blues Band, Quintessence and many others.
