I’m still mulling this over. Best price per litre is around £1.00, so I’m thinking of buying a water distiller. I reckon I will break even after around 75 LPs, assuming distilled water degrades after 15 records (is this reasonable, or was my “pure” water not so pure?)

That’s about 20p per litre.

Anyway, over to the computer!

Edit: I remember a story about Trevor Horn being so enamoured with this album that he bought many many copies of the CD, just so that he could pass them on to anyone he knew. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Before you jump on the expensive home filtering option, maybe purchase the 10 litres (at Amazon prices) and then see if it makes a difference to your initial trial results. With recently pressed vinyl you should see plenty of gunk in your bath filter after a 60 minute clean. That’s my experience anyway.
