It stopped raining a week ago so we’re back walking regularly, Monday’s experience follows…
It has certainly been beautiful in the South West and Wales over the last week and the sky has been a lovely hue of Blue.
It’s been amazing, especially after months of endless rain (Even the bees are awake & on tour). Only 25 days to BST
Yet to sort out the photos but my wife and I went for a walk along the Ouse between Holywell near Swavesey and St. Ives (Cambridgeshire - not Cornwall).
At one point we walked underneath a Willow tree that was in flower. The sound of the bees was so intense that I was looking for a wasp or hornet nest
it’s quite an experience this time of the year when first of the summer bees emerge. It’s even more exciting collecting swarms and finding new homes for them…
Even we’ve had rain , quite unusual. It’s been rain rather than the normal wham bam thunderstorms. Still it’s warm rain around 30C
Warm is good, it’s slightly warmer here but still some way to go before we get hot…
I don’t know. I was at Holkham Beach near Wells-Next-The-Sea in Norfolk yesterday. 19 deg C was pretty warm.
On an ebb tide, however, the water temperature was nothing less than painfull
Im off o n holiday predicted 35 38
Thats hot
An elderly man smashed the brake except it was the accelerator. He crossed the lot, the sidewalk, flew over an area where employees usually sit and went through a store window, shattering windows at Kroger to your left. Photo of the year.
