Retired Aerospace guy. In a rockabilly band which plays AUTHENTIC 1950’s R’Billy - standup bass, Gretsch guitar and cocktail drum kit with a singer who ENTERTAINS. I play the guitar, a Brian Setzer Hotrod. My stereo system is a compromise - vinyl subsystem (Rega P3, Linn Troika), ATC 7 fronts, PSB Sub. But I also have to accommodate the movies, so I have some surround/backs and a centre speaker when we watch movies in that room. The digital setup is via an Oppo UHD205, one of the best DACs I’ve ever experienced, with the Roon database (all Naim-Core ripped and re-clocked WAV files) on a dedicated Mac mini. Anyway, it all sounds good to my old ears.
