A graduate of the Lowell Institute of MIT, O.A. Masciarotte has spent over 40 years immersed in the tech space, working on facilitation, communications, and product development for many clients including Apple, Harper Collins, The Hit Factory, NASA Johnson, NPR, Pioneer, the San Francisco Symphony, Sony and Universal. A contributing editor for audioXpress.com, AudioKeyReviews.com, and HifiZine.com, his work includes a book covering file–based music for the home.

Masciarotte is co–founder of MAAT GmbH, a manufacturer of professional audio solutions based in Hamburg DE. MAAT is built on the belief that higher accuracy, exceptional fidelity, enhanced workflows and less visual fatigue are hallmarks of better quality toolsets.
