I was born in the 50’s in Antwerp and live since the 90’s in Luxembourg.
I got into high-end audio fairly recently. In the last 10 years. I started with ROON in the summer of 2018. I would be impossible to do without it at this point.

My ROON core (on a dedicated Mac Mini) feeds into a Pro-Ject Streambox S2 Ultra via an ethernet connection over a dedicated Netgear 100Gbyte switch with iFi iPower power supply. The Streambox feeds a Mytek Brooklyn dac (over USB) and has the Sbooster power supply. I use the Brooklyn as a pre-amp for my NAD C316BEE V2 amp which feeds a pair of FOCAL Aria 926 floorstanding speakers. I use Audioquest low/middle range cables.

For headphones I have a pair of SONY MDR-V6 and Sennheiser 6xx (Massdrop). I have a pair of Massdrop x Meze 99 Noir Closed-Back Headphones on the way. I use the Mytek Brooklyn as the headphone amp. It is great.

My music library in ROON consists of ± 500 albums (1/4 ripped CDs and the rest TIDAL albums).
