I’m a professional musician and teacher, having been on the faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for almost half a century, where I chair the department of Musicianship and Music Theory. I’m also a busy program annotator for the Oregon Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Grand Teton Music Festival, Maestro Foundation, and others, in addition to being a lecturer on music for the Fromm Institute of USF, San Francisco Symphony, and California Symphony.
