Retired and living in Berlin since Aug ‘19. Have some HiFi kit with me outputing to Beolab 8000 active speakers (organ pipes). Beosound Ouverture & 3000, Naim ND5XS, Audiolab M-DAC. Trying to get best possible streaming through ND5XS, so have purchased RPi4B with Allo Digi HAT, iFi Zen Stream & Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital. Playing about with everything in various configurations, but don’t seem to be able to get anything higher than 16 Bit 44.1K into ND5XS! Thinking of chipping in the iFi Zen DAC for a Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 Ultra as it seems to be the only one in their 2013 Catalogue. I had been thinking of building a system up to pre box in their DS Range. Roon is on an i3 NUC with a 2TB PORTABLE USB Drive containing my library. Never had an issue.
