I have a dedicated listening room with one permeate chair.
My wife is perfectly content with an AM radio. Though she doesn’t understand the need for high end audio she is supportive. Well, as supportive as a CPA is going to be when I through out a $ for a new piece of equipment. I get the side eye look of, are you insane and we talk about it.
We have been together 46 years and she is the one that suggested I build a music room for myself so she can’t be that tough.
