I’ve been an audiophile for about 50 years, more or less. I’m taking some liberties and being generous with the time, but not too much. I’ve been a music lover since my pre-teen years. I purchased my first “system” when I went off to college. The heart of it was a pair or not that great Realistic (Radio Shack) speakers. My current main speakers are Martin Logan SL3’s. I stepped away from audio for several years, but got back into it in 2024 on the personal audio side. My Audeze LCD-X’s are my favorite headphones, but I have many. I need to “freshen up” my ML’s, as I prefer speakers to headphones or IEMs. I’m looking to get into streaming, but trying to decide what to use for a Roon Core. I’ll probably bite the bullet sometime in 2025. I don’t have any experience with Roon, but I’m looking to learn. I look forward to the discussions.
