I’m the guy with a small library of SACDs yearning to be free, is furious with Sonos for dropping their optical link on the new “improved” connect, has NAS drives full of a lifetime’s worth lossless FLACs only to to have time and tide show up with hi-res streaming services. The utter joy of being able to find great music (& AQ) on demand is, well, heaven. Recently I spent a few weeks going through Antony Hopkins “Sounds of the Orchestra” and could find every track he wanted me to study. Awesome. Its a beautiful world. I eventually will make a playlist for others and tie it to the book. Roon is on a Windows boxed USB connected to a Cambridge Audio EVO 150 tied to couple of Klefs. Speakers everywhere, And yeah, also in the shower – they’re just motorcycle speakers but at least they’re waterproof.
