Again, there was a lot of great music released in 2023, but I still don’t think this was quite as good a musical year for me as, say, 2021 was - but here’s my top 10, for what it’s worth:

A lot could have easily gone in my list too but 12 is 12 …lol
Quite a few could take top honours and most others have been mentioned thus far by others.
Another one would be Haken - Fauna from March. So much so I purchased it last week.
Another, again purchased is
Mixed views by some, but I think it’s great (also bought the live albums from the 2 days at Castle Donnington from the Download festival)
And another purchase
2024 is going to be different for me. Streaming services are now turned off for me. Going to be listening to owned content and buying blind based on reviews. Goal by the end of 2024 is to have built up my own library to around 2000 albums. Being as I’m at 706 albums in less than 6 months I think I may stretch to 2500/3000
I could easily have extended my 12 to 20 and still left some very enjoyable albums out while trying to create some balance
