AAC files recognized at incorrect sample rate

This is odd because I don’t remember doing any such thing (I buy most of this music off my iphone and it syncs automatically to my library).

I have moved this library from one PC to the other in the past. So lets say that they are indeed ripped at 48khz. Why is roon saying they are 44.1khz and enlarging the files? Does it have a set sample rate for “type” of file and doesn’t actually parse? This makes little sense since I have Flacs from 16/48 all the way to 24/196.

Check your iTunes > Edit > Preferences > General > Import Settings and find out the sample rate.

When I was doing iTunes, everything on both Windows 10 and Mac Mojave said 44.1. Can it matter where you live?? I’m in the U.S.
