This is something that some of the big streaming platforms allow for and would be a great addition to Roon to personalize the experience.

Same Here. I have barely more than one Track fron an Album.
Roon should be more open to people who are Playlist-Focused.
The Old Hirachial Structure of Albums are too static.
Please give us custom Playlist-Covers!

I’d throw in my 2 cents for ability to edit album art for a playlist. This would be specifically good if one had a compilation album (say Citizien Steely Dan) and one wanted to make a playlist for each of the albums it contains.
how is that not a feature yet. its so simple to implement.
Just bought a year of Roon following a recommendation and how is it not possible to add custom artwork to playlists? This is crazy!! Out of all the features it has and this basic hasn’t been implemented. I hope I’ve not just wasted £120.

Would love this too. Being able to upload my own image to my playlists (and write a description too while we’re at it) would mean to truly be able to curate my collection of playlists in the way I want.
Plus would help me reconize a playlist just by looking at the image of it. Right now they all look very similiar with those 4 mini song artwork squares

It would be fantastic to have the ability to add or change cover images for playlists in Roon.
Currently, playlists display a generic or automatically generated image, which doesn’t always reflect the personality or mood of the playlist. Being able to set a custom cover (from an image file or album art) would greatly improve visual organization, personalization, and the overall aesthetic of the Roon interface—especially for users with large playlist libraries.
Benefits:
- Easier visual identification of playlists
- More personal and curated feel (like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
- Great for themed or mood-based playlists
