Access to MUSE when music playback is paused

I would like to suggest a Roon behaviour change to ensure that MUSE is accessible when music playback is paused.
I’m not sure if it’s a bug, because now that I’ve tested it, I paused my music and was able to access MUSE by clicking on the signal path icon, but when I left MUSE, I couldn’t access it again because the signal path icon changed color to gray.

Is there a reason for Roon to behave this way? I want to be able to access MUSE on a selected audio output zone at any time, not just when music is playing or when I pause it and then only once.

Thanks

You can’t access the actual signal path when no music is playing because then there is nothing to display (there is no signal). In this case the three-dot menu in the signal path doesn’t exist either.

However, MUSE is not only accessible through the signal path (and then the three-dot menu in the signal path window) but also through the speaker icon, and this can be done when nothing is playing.

This makes sense. I didn’t know about this. I’m never touching the volume icon, as all my devices are in Device Volume mode.

Thanks @Suedkiez

Moved this out of suggestions as it already exists and marked it solved.
Thank you.
