Acoustic panel room treatment question

Um, may be a daft idea but - you can’t move your seat out at all?

If you can, just move it when you listen, then put it back when you’re done

Or, put some cushions behind your back?

Hi Julian, If your room has no carpet then you may need some damping on some walls…I agree with Adam, Absorption and dispersion will definitely help in the brightness of the room. Even Paintings may help on the back of the sofa. Or if you have a bookshelf you can locate it behind the sofa too. I used this ( Mybecca 12 Pack- Acoustic Panels Studio Foam Wedges 1" X 12" X 12) which I purchased from Amazon on the ceiling of a Bar I own and operate. Have a Silver and a Gold Devialet Phantom on the walls…These worked really well. For USD16.00. Hope this helps…Also it would be a bit presumptuous to think that frequency ranges can be addressed as the restriction within the setting aren’t very conducive being to critical as to we signing out ranges. Just apply some absorption as best you can and enjoy the MUSIC…
