As you can see I asked the question myself and followed the instructions and it worked.

How to? - Move files from NAS to local disk

I’m sure this is set out somewhere but I can’t readily find the information - so apologies in advance. I’d like to move my music files from NAS storage to a local drive attached to the core machine. Are there recommended steps to achieve this? (or steps to avoid ) cheers Ged
