Adding Multiple Folders

Hi there,

I have my files on a NAS but each album has its own folder. When I go to Storage - Add Folder, is there a way to select multiple folders or do I need to import each one in turn? I don’t want to import the whole thing at once because I know I had problems last time with the file analysis finding problems and I could not identify which files were at fault.

Select the folder that contains all of the the album folders. All sub-folders will be scanned for media files.

e.g. If you have a nas share that is access as \\nas\share (windows) or smb://nas/share (Mac) and you have a music folder structure on that share that looks something like:

Music (folder)
      |_ Artist1 (folder)
            |_ Album1 (folder)
                    |_ Track1
                    |_  ... 
            |_ Album2 (folder)
                    |_ Track1
                    |_  ... 
            |_ ...
      |_ Artist2 (folder)
            |_ Album1 (folder)
                    |_ Track1
                    |_  ... 
            |_ Album2 (folder)
                    |_ Track1
                    |_  ...
            |_ ... 
      |_ ...

Then you would add just the Music folder ie:

• “\\nas\share\Music” on windows
• “smb://nas/share/Music” on Mac
