Adding tracks/albums from Tidal to Roon Library

Hi all,

I know that tracks from Tidal can been added to my Roon Library two ways; in Tidal using the heart icon to add it to “My Collection” or in Roon using the “Add to Library” menu function. Based on my experience both approaches seem to work similarly. Are they functionally equivalent to each other or is there a reason that one approach might be prefered over the other?

They are the same. Adding a TIDAL release to your library in Roon will make it a favourite in TIDAL. Likewise, a favourite in TIDAL will be added to your Roon library.

However, note that Roon and TIDAL favourites are not equivalent.
