Im looking to add a USB 3 drive to my NUC which is running Ubuntu 18 desktop, with roon core installed.
I understand that rock exposes your usb as a share… will this happen with my Ubuntu install, or will i have to use CIFS?
What happens with read write permissions? Access password etc. Had a nightmare before last time i tried to xreate a nas with a pi byw
Im asking as Im looking to overhaul my Nas, so want a single standalone solution for now.
It would be great if i could create this single box solution… Using Ubuntu
