Airplay from Iphone requires Code to connect to RopieeeXL

I am trying to stream Apple music from iPhone 12Pro (16.4.1) to Ropieee XL or other audio devices like WiiM Pro). I can stream on my Macbook Pro with no issues to RopieeeXL or any other Airplay device. For some reason the iPhone is prompting for an on-screen code (see screen shot).

Seems like this is an Apple issue, but wanted to see if anyone in this forum has experienced or knows a solution.

Does it happens with RoPieeeXL too? in the screenshot I can read WiiM Pro …

Yes, any Airplay device - audio. See attached screen shot for RopieeeXL.

It works fine (no code required) on my iPhone 7 15.7.5

As you have WiiM maybe there is some kind of interaction with the WiiM app, check this page
