I’m not sure if you got an answer for your 44k max. It sounds like you’re playing directly from iTunes and Qobuz to your Raspberry Pi. If that’s the case, you’re using RopieeeXL as an AirPlay device. Airplay caps at 16/44.1. If you use Roon to feed your Raspberry Pi as a Roon endpoint, you can get hi-res.
