Support AirPlay2 metadata display for P1 / T3 / U2 / U2 MINI was added in FW update 17. Is there any plans for this also on older hw, or is there a hw limitation on older hw?

Why do you want AirPlay2? AirPlay1 is always lossless 16/44.1. AirPlay2 is usually lossy AAC in many cases.
As a Roon user, you already have grouped playback.

Don’t care if it’s ap1 or ap2 more for the metadata than for the sound quality. I don’t use airplay for music but for podcast/archived radio not available from roon. Now it only shows the Airplay logo, metadata info would be nice. Not everything needs to be high quality, sometimes content is more important than HD resolution.
Maybe not the right place to ask about Airplay on a roon forum?
