Apart from being almost impossible to make the intended selection by drag and drop, the album focus filter “Added in the last…” almost always crashes my iPad Pro.
Since you can’t successfully (you can, but takes a lot of tries) to pull the selection from Jan 1 to current date, you need to pull the selection from current date and back to the start of the year. When reaching the end of the line (Jan 1) the app crashes. For me this happens almost 100% of the times I try this.
Not sure why this can’t be typed in instead, or why you can’t specify a full year (not a year back in time, but the current year) as that would not make the bookmark I create with this selection, become obsolete the day after I create it.
Yeah yeah, I know, the feature request process. This is such a tiny detail though, I rather just complain about it.
