Album Format Icon - MQA vs. Tidal vs. CD Icons

I’ve noticed that there is now an MQA icon that shows which albums are MQA encoded files. Fantastic!

My issue is that non-MQA Tidal albums are now showing up as “CD” format and there is no way I can distinguish non MQA Tidal albums from ripped CDs on my hard drive. Is there a way to distinguish this difference that I’m missing? What happened to the old Tidal format icon?

Hi,

  • A stylised ‘T’ icon means the album is streamed from Tidal (rather than a local file).

It is also possible to use focus to filter on the location of the audio files.
