This is not the first time, I found an album like this:
The album is 2:43:11, in roon it is more than 6hrs
because roon dublicated some titles
what should be the reason?

Tidy up your files. Use an ID3 editor like Tagscanner.

Hi @Matz,
A couple of things to check / try:
In Roon, for a group of duplicated tracks, use the “…” menu against each track and check what the file location looks like.
Are they identical or different?
If identical, the question is why is Roon displaying them multiple times … worth checking Roon’s Storage Setup to make sure folders are not inadvertently being “Watched” more than once.
If that looks ok, then I’d suggest stopping and restarting Roon Server (re booting the device it’s running on would work).
If the file paths are different; it suggests you may have duplicate files on the storage disk(s). However, it might also be a different path to the same file … so be careful about what you remove.
Hope this helps, if not share some screenshots of Roon ‘s files paths and settings storage page.
Hi @Matz
I’m aware of others experiencing ‘phantom duplicates’ in albums and also tracks with their local files.
I sense you are meticulous in your file naming and organisation to suggest it’s a Roon issue.
You may find more.
It would be interesting to see if you see a difference in album/track count from this screen;
To these screens
This issue has been flagged many times and it doesn’t get fixed. It’s purely a visual bug and seeems related to the other ongoing issue that makes the album count show like a focus and you get a silly album count on left and the real count on right. I have a feedback thread on it that seems to have got no feedback other than those it has affected. It’s a database issue and seems to get triggered by album artists and how compilations are chosen to be sorted. A reboot tends to clear them, but they have a habit of coming back.
Exactly what I see occuring myself, however it’s a little too random for my liking which makes it even harder to nail down the root cause.
It’s way more common I believe, not everyone notices it or reports it. Been months like this.
I would be in the noticed column. It also clears for me with a reboot.
I’ve had it with local content and only just the other day with Qobuz content.
The latter needed me to remove ten albums, which also removed the phantom duplicates, and then add them again from Qobuz.
Before I did this I checked the Qobuz app, Qobuz in the WiiM Home app and other means and it is only Roon showing phantom duplicates.
These duplicates showed as extra tracks also.
For now things are relatively normal.
As said elsewhere, I wonder if build 1470 had fixes from previous builds left out as this does seem to be a buggy build.
