In classical music different performance by different performer can be totally different. Even same work by same performer can be very different due to accompanying orchestra, conductor, recording venues, etc.
So, it’s highly desirable to be able to dislike specific album.
For I like Areau, but don’t want to listen to his 1950 recordings, and there’s no way I can do that in Roon right now.

You could NOT add those albums to your library?
If necessary limit Roon Radio to your library also.
I probably don’t get the ‘criticality’ of this for listening to classical music… but… I listen to classical music all the time, and simply select the album or albums I want to listen to, and ignore those I don’t want to listen to. If I don’t want to listen to Arrau’s 50s recordings, then I don’t select those albums for listening. I actively look for music I like, and I heart those albums I like the most…
Besides… you can ‘ban’ albums in your Roon library, just as you can ‘heart’ them.
Just for you I added an Arrau album from the 1950s to my library and marked it as ‘banned’ or ‘disliked’…
that is a ingenious workaround (although cumbersome) … but I still prefer a different “dislike” option while “Radio Radio” is play.
The current “dislike track” kind of give me pauses, since very often I do like that music, and sometimes even the artist (such as Emil Gilels), but just not that particular recording.
By the way, how about artist? How to make Roon Radio stay away from certain performer(s)?
In your original post you didn’t mention Roon Radio at all… If you wish others to vote for your feature suggestion, you should explain more precisely what is your problem, and what is the exact feature your’e suggesting. Make clear the use case.
You can ‘dislike’ or ‘ban’ artists, just as I showed you for albums.
But what do I know, I never user Roon Radio, nor do I do playlists… My listening preferences are very album-centered, sometimes composition-centered…
If you are very particular about which recording and artists you prefer, and very particular about which other artists and recordings you dislike, you’ll be much happier selecting your own artists and albums, and not depend upon Radio suggestions. I don’t expect Roon Radio to easily learn about your preferences, if you don’t ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ albums and artists…
