Allow for more covers and photos - changes the Artists view

Hi all,

I am curious if you see this behaviour. When I enable “Allow for more covers and photos” the Artists view shows 8 artists per row, but when I disable it, the Artists view shows 6 artist per row. This is on iPad Pro 12,9".

Is this normal and expected?

And what exactly does the “Allow for more covers and photos” do? My albums are local, with embeded artwork in the file, I don’t see any other changes, apart the number of artists in a row in the Artists view.

That’s about what it does…does the same for album covers, too.

With album covers, it makes the cover display smaller so that it can fit more on a page, hence “allow for more covers”. I never checked/noticed in artist view, but given the laws of geometry it will probably also make the artist pics smaller if it is able to fit more of them in the available space?
