Android tablet Roon side by side with a second app?

I’m considering a new Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" tablet with Android 9.0. Can this run Roon side by side with a second app?

I have the Android 8.0 version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" tablet and it runs Roon together with other apps (in the background) but not side by side as that feature is not enabled for Roon if I’m not mistaken.

I like it. It’s cheap and it does all the things I need.

Yes, it runs v1.7 build 505 on Android v8.1.0.

This tablet is at the top of my list to be used primarily as a ROON Remote.
