Hi, all. I am writing this post as it may be of help to other users
After having problems with both the Roon remote and Roon ARC apps not connecting to the Roon server from my Pixel 8 phone, I finally got Roon and Roon ARC to work relatively consistently by doing the following:
1- I upgraded the main Roon desktop program to v.265.
2- I reset the Android operating system to the latest cinnamonbun version (I had been running a beta version previously).
3- I then installed the Android apk versions of the Roon remote and Roon ARC from the Roon website’s download page on the web.
5- I installed Tailscale on all of my devices and connected them to my Tailscale network.
After about a week, all seems to be working properly and I have connectivity with the Roon server
