Was looking at a Meridian demo unit at a dealer near me and this was discussed. He had a cable vendor A/B their cable with the existing cable. A difference was definitely apparent. However the comment about the difference was curious. Yes a distinct difference but just different, not better.
Conclusion, you need to audition them or simple enjoy what you have.
