Finally got my Mytek working with a pair of 100w mono amps. I’ve noticed that they are pretty quiet. By that I mean that I have Roon volume at > 80% for what I would consider normal listening volume. By comparison other systems in the same room were all at around 40-50%.
The 6dB gain reduction jumpers are NOT installed.
I’m using digital volume with USB control (WIN not dB).
I can’t imagine that the amps are the issue here? 100w into 8ohms should be very loud when played at max.
I’m interested in others experience of this. I vaguely recall DARKO mentioning that they run quiet.
